Beekeeping, bee-friendly farming and a women’s honey cooperative across 14 wards.
Bees pollinate the crops and forests that hill families depend on, and honey sells well. Mahuri Palan helps 640 women build beekeeping enterprises while protecting the forage their bees need.
Members of women’s savings groups receive training, modern hives and protective kits. Together they register a honey cooperative that handles processing, labelling and sales, and plant flowering trees and hedges in community land.
